Abstract

The aim of the paper is to determine the influence of some phases of consumer experience on life satisfaction, based on the selected categories of physical products and services. The influence of satisfaction with different domains of student life on life satisfaction is also studied here. Using descriptive statistics and regression analysis, the results show that consumer well-being, ranked slightly above the average, generally has no significance when it comes to life satisfaction, while personal and family relations, leisure time and education have a more significant impact on it. The above-stated can be linked to the distinctive features of the sample, the selection of the analysed categories of products, or the characteristics of the current socio-economic conditions in Croatia. This study should contribute to understanding the impact of consumer well-being on life satisfaction, and lead to further research, especially into the influence of the phases of maintenance and disposal of products on life satisfaction, which are particulary important in terms of the environmental impact.
