RESEARCH OF THE MAINTENANCE SYSTEM OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINES

Abstract

Carrying out construction works is unthinkable without construction machines. In practice, there are difficulties with their reliability and availability. The research is based on the maintenance of typical construction machines for earthworks and transport vehicles. We proposed a maintenance system that includes conception, organization and maintenance technology. A model of the field organization of the maintenance system was developed, which defines basic, current and periodic maintenance. We found that the machine maintenance system is a significant factor affecting their purchase and use. Owning or renting machines makes a difference between users which affects the business.
