Abstract

Patent urachus is the most common anomaly of the urinary bladder and is more frequently observed in foals than in other domestic animal species. Furthermore, uroabdomen is a common complication of a patent urachus, which can partially contribute to the occurrence of intestinal intussusception. This short paper presents a case from practice.
