GIS, TIS AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT APPLICATION (GTDM) IN INTRANET NETWORK OF DP’S

Abstract
Specific surroundings of GIS, TIS and Document Management Type (different kinds of existing programming surroundings), operation organization (one main operation and external operations) as well as the speed of computer intranet network has resulted in the need of a specific programming package (GTDM) that would perform successfully the tasks requested. An important characteristic of GTDM is that it does not take only its GIS and TIS solutions but it can adapt to the surroundings, i.e. take data from them based on the IMPORT-EXPORT module and offer an intranet solution to the computer network user of the distribution region (DP), which is also the basic intention of GTDM. Despite that, GTDM includes the possibility of GIS and TIS data maintenance (GIS and TIS editor) and it can work independently. This makes it transparent and suitable for different surroundings found in many DPs.
