Abstract

A personalized approach to each patient is one of the essential factors of quality care in family medicine. Due to a high incidence of thromboembolic diseases, we monitor patients who need treatment or prevention of such conditions on an everyday basis. This article will discuss the use of anticoagulant drugs in family medicine, as well as indications and goals of the use of these drugs.
