Abstract
In the past decades, snow avalanches on Shar mountain have occurred continuously, which in certain places have led to undesirable consequences. The assessment and zoning of the areas with a level of risk in the case of Shar Mountain was carried out by applying MDA-AHP and Fuzzy Logic methods, while the analysis of the accuracy of the final obtained results were performed by applying the ROC method. The study area was classified in five categories, as areas with very low (Z = 0), low (0 < Z < 0.2), moderate (0.2 < Z < 0.5), high (0.5 < Z < 0.7), and very high (Z > 0.7) avalanche release potential zones, recorded in a developed geodatabase, as well as shown in two maps with zoned areas by risk level of snow avalanches in Sharr Mountains area, that are intended to be used as an open geospatial database by all stakeholders.
