Abstract

Contributions from ½- resonance poles to the parity-violating NNq vertex are estimated by using the harmonic-oscillator quark model to calculate the weak vertex. Results are in very good agreement with our previous results obtained by using the MIT bag model. These quark-model-independent estimates show that an additional quark configuration must contribute.
