Abstract

The paper presents a synchronic account of the accentuation of masculine nouns in Njeguši region in Montenegro, using the methodology of accentual typology. Njeguši dialect is compared with the other Montenegrin Old Štokavian dialects. Intergenerational differences are also pointed out.
