Abstract
The main function of this paper is an attempt to present how the professional staff of the Museum of Arts and Crafts worked and acted in the complex socio-political-sociological and cultural conditions that arose in Croatia after World War II as part of the former Yugoslavia.
The emphasis will be placed on the functioning processes in which the professional staff of the Museum of Arts and Crafts were involved in the context of the Commission for the Gathering and Protection of Cultural Monuments and Antiquities (KOMZA), established in June 1945, while the entire scope of the paper will be concluded with 1947
