Abstract
Tensile properties, namely breaking force, elongation at break, and elongation at a fixed level of force (200 N), are studied for different structures of industrial polyester (PES) woven fabrics. Some mathematical models on the ground of the regression procedure are proposed. The models reflect the relationships among several parameters of fabric setting at weaving loom and the above-mentioned tensile properties. The properties of the suggested models, as well as the possibilities of application are discussed. The comparison of forecasted tensile properties with the experimental tensile results shows sufficient correlation for the examined PES woven fabrics.
