Abstract

When discussing the issue of health with second graders, the pupils
themselves realized that hygiene is very important for human health. We used the fact
that one of the parents is a dentist and that the company Saponia is located near our
school in Cepin, as well as the support of all parents to launch and participate in the
project Keep your teeth healthy. The project was implemented in the Vladimir Nazor
primary school in Cepin and in the dentist office of dr. Zvonimir Mihaljevic from 11
February 2008 to the end of the school year. The aim of the project was for pupils to
pay more attention to dental hygiene, visit the dentist regularly, and prevent tooth
decay.
