Abstract

In the paper the author gives a comprehensive evaluation of the curriculum that regular students of the final year of social work (N=115) participated in during two academic school years. The results indicate that students are satisfied with the existing curriculum, especially with the professional courses and field instruction. The initiatives of students for improving the courses are to a great extent in accordance with the demands for the reform of the education system stemming from the contemporary definition of social work and International Standards of Education in Social Work. The need for systematic students' evaluation of university teaching has been emphasised as an important prerequisite for the continued improvement of the teaching process.
