Antagonism of Labor Relations – A Postsocialist Perspective

Abstract

The status of leftist discourse in the context of the restoration of capitalism in southeastern European countries, Croatia in particular, are discussed in this paper. The relevance of concepts resulting from the critique of traditional marxism for neoliberal doctrine are reconsidered. Special stress has been put on the political dimension of labor and on the category of the social class, or to be more precise, to reasons for its disappearance from social research and post-socialist public discourse.
