Abstract

Motorways are the roads which enable faster and more secure traffic. Great burdens cause numerous damages of the roadway construction, such as ruts and splits. These damages are the great danger for drivers and vehicles. For these reasons the tarmac curtain is reconstructing - the wear and connective tarmac layer, and if necessary, weight-bearing layer. Damaged layers are removed and the new ones are installed. In order to have the evidence of the finished grips, about the quantities of removed and installed material, it is necessary to do the geodetic measurements before and after the particular stages of the reconstruction, and in order to have the quality installation of the new layers, geodetic labours are inevitable in preparation and transfer of the level of new tarmac along the reconstruction section. Involvement of geodetic experts ensures high precision of transfer of the level on the field, and the precise realization on which the straight of the new tarmac curtain depends.
