Abstract
Malignant diseases are one of the most common causes of child death in Europe and America. In the past ten years great success has been achieved in diagnostics and in treatment, especially of malignant lymphoma. New methods in treatment (new combinations of cytostatics, irradiation, surgery, monoclonal antibody and bone marrow transplantation) have made it possible to accomplish long term remission and cure.
