Construction quality management in area regulated by law

Abstract

A decision-making tool for development of a new model, aimed at checking compliance of buildings with laws and regulations, is proposed. This model would be based on construction quality management systems developed by contractors, and would replace the current model, based on obligatory external independent checking of buildings, which is used by authorized individuals, authorized legal persons, and relevant public bodies. Recommendations are given for conducting analyses aimed at assessing reliability of the quality management system used in construction.
