Abstract

Starting from the fact that the Church in Croatia starts to face with
democratization of the soeiety and its cosequences, the author, in the
first part of his reflects, outlines spiritual and epochal context of the
contempo-raneous democracy. At the same time he notices how
secularization and pluralism make two inevitable accompanyng
phenomena of the each, so far known democratic society. In the
concluđing part, the author proposes, in the form of thesis, some
positions and behaviours which could help to the church community
to decrease undoubtedly corrosive consequences of meeting with
comming democratic processes.
