Abstract

This article analyzes the novel Dervish and Death, the best-known work by the Bosnian-Hercegovian author Meša Selimović, which draws heavily upon Islamic religion and traditions. In this analysis, the similarities and differences between the Islamic and Christian perceptions of God and God's persona are noted.
