Abstract

The family is the first, natural and »spontaneous« school for children, parents being the most important and valuable teachers. Education is based on communication within the family. This base is the result of love between all members of the family.
Communication means conversation, but this also includes the whole behaviour of parents and children. It is an activity they have in common. Comparing new and old approaches to communication, we can see that the new way reflects reactions to experiences.
Feelings are innner psychological reactions to experiences. They reflect the most intimate state of a person. They reaffirm and deepen relationship, rendering them more personal.
To be aware of our feelings, we have to be aware of how we are reacting with other people, how we sense, interpret, feel, intend, and express - all at the same time. These are five aspects.
The fact of understanding the five aspects of the experience and the expression of feeling enables us to successfully communicate our feeling. It is extremely important for parents to be very careful and effective in communicating with their children.
