From St. Peter through the Papal State to Vatican

Abstract
It is a historical fact that papacy is the only institution of Europe, or even of the whole world, that connects postapostolic time with our Atomic Age. In this historical study the author presents the development from modest Peter's function the modem sovereign Vatican state, beginning from its foundation up to the present political establishment.
