THE BANIAN SPEECH ON THE ISLAND OF PAŠMAN

Abstract
The article discusses the main characteristics of the Banian speech on the island of Pašman as one of the Ikaviančakavian idioms. Attention is drawn to phonologic characteristics. It also analyses the Banian dialectal characteristics in the poetry of Jerolim Kraljev.
