Abstract

TRAINMONHER (TRAINing in MONumental HERitage) is a research and
development, international co-operation Specific Support Action (SSA) within the 6th Framework Programmme, financed by the European Union with participation of eight education and research institutions from 7 countries (Spain, France, Morocco, Argentina, Mexico, Portugal and Croatia). Its main objective is to promote and strengthen training offer of EU country partners by creation of multidisciplinary educational modules adapted to undergraduate and graduate students and professionals in the field of Cultural Heritage. In order to enable the e-learning of above target groups, the whole program has put on a platform placed on a computer server in Argentina. Within the project three courses (workshops) were organized in Morocco, Mexico and Croatia, where the in situ visits of specific architectonic complexes were arranged and presented by local specialists, historians, architects or town planners. The Croatian partners from the Croatian Conservation Institute and the Rudjer Bošković Institute were engaged in organization of the third course, held in Split.
