Abstract

A patient by ultrasound diagnosed extrauterine pregnancy is presented. The patient reported oneself to her gynecologist 11 weeks after she had missed her period. Presented discomforts included pain in the area of abdomen and meager vaginal bleeding. A gynecological examination indicated extrauterine pregnancy that was confirmed by the ultrasound examination. On the basis of her last period the pregnancy was appreciated to be 11+2 weeks. By the ultrasound biometry and measuring the length of fetus on pathohistology, the pregnancy was estimated to be 9–10 weeks. In any case it was the fetal stage of pregnancy. A surgical treatment, laparotomy and salpingectomy, was performed. The preparation was sent to patohistology analysis which diagnosed fetus anomaly: reduced right underarm and completely undeveloped right hand.
