Abstract

The paper analyses the chapter Sprichwörter – Prirječja from Anhang, the dictionary annexed to Kristijanović’s Grammatik der kroatischen Mundart. The chapter contains Kajkavian paremiological items with German equivalents which are analysed regarding their source and lexicographical analysis. Besides proverbs, the dictionary also contains idioms and colloquial phrases. Special attention is paid to a semantic analysis of the proverbs and the aspect of human life they refer to, as well as their moral.
