In medias res, electronic journal with PDF format publishes thus far unpublished papers in English, German and Croatian. All papers are subject to peer review and are accepted for publication after they receive two anonymus positive reviews. Until we acquire our own plagiarism software, our Editorial Board is actively checking are there any plagiarism parts in the articles via internet. In medias res is an interdisciplinary scientific journal which will welcome and publish (reviewed) articles from various scientific branches and disciplines, insofar as they scientifically reflect on some of the segments of mediality in their scientific field.The fate of every medium depends on the lucky ratio of the quality of its content, interest of its intended users and creative energies involved in the development of the medium. The interdisciplinary, but essential philosophical, contemplation of the phenomenon of media intermediation (an opinion which takes into account particular scientific knowledge and research) wants to critically evaluate different approaches on part of scientific branches and disciplines, while attempting to demonstrate that the unmasking of all the dimensions of seduction and manipulation of contemporary mass media necessitates precisely that - a comprehensive philosophical understanding of the media. The authors are not charged by the journal for the cost of receiving, reviewing and publishing papers. All the papers that pass the first editorial control are subject to the so-called double-blind review process which does not reveal the identity of the authors or reviewers.
