Recognising the need for editors, publishers, and the wider research, academic and professional community to actively participate in discussions and decision-making regarding the status and future development of Hrčak, SRCE appointed the sixth term of the Hrčak Advisory Board on 28 January 2026.

The responsibilities and mode of operation of the Advisory Board are defined by the Regulations of Croatian Scientific and Professional Journals – Hrčak.

The following members have been appointed to the Advisory Board:

• Assoc. Prof. Drahomira Cupar, PhD, University of Zadar, Department of Information Sciences and Technologies / Editor-in-Chief of Libellarium
• Iva Grabarić Andonovski, University of Zagreb Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology / Editor of Food Technology and Biotechnology / appointed representative of the Croatian Association for Scholarly Communication – CROASC
• Prof. Tomislav Malvić, PhD, University of Zagreb Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering
• Prof. Daria Pašalić, PhD, University of Zagreb School of Medicine / Editorial Board member of Biochemia Medica
• Sonja Pigac, MSc, National and University Library in Zagreb – appointed representative
• Ivana Prosinečki, Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, Directorate for Science and Technology – appointed representative
• Željka Strejček, Biblical Institute / Secretary and appointed representative of the journal Kairos

The term of office of the Advisory Board members is two years from the date of appointment.
