Abstract

We show that the anomalous behaviour of the resistivity of nearly-magnetic transition-metal based alloys and of some actinide alloys and compounds can be understood in the frame of the LSF approximation of the one-band Wolff model. Theoretical results are compared with the experimental data and it is shown that the observed „universal“ behaviour (different systems exibiting the same temperature dependence when plotted as a function of the reduced temperature T/TK) follows as a consequence of the scattering of the conduction electrons on the fluctuations of the local magnetization.
