Sažetak

The three-year collection (2021-2023) in 24 localities of the Shar Mountain resulted in the identification of 41 taxa of the order Plecoptera belonging to 6 families and 12 genera. From an ecological perspective, seasonal variation is also evident, with a large number of species collected at the localities in late spring, peaking in June. This paper provides valuable information and precise knowledge about the composition of the Plecoptera fauna in the Shar Mountain, revealing the heterogeneity of aquatic habitats and their impact on maintaining high diversity in several localities such as: spring Uliverica, forest stream on the road to River Mazdraca, stream at the Pine Trees, Mala Leshnica, River at Mala Leshnica, and spring at Lukovo polje.
