Human values and mission of the Church

Sažetak

This article talks about fundamental human values and their imperilling
in our time, in which prevail subjectivism and relativism. Contemporary
movements are elevating the man to a divinity, and then,
according to their programmatical and political aims try to transform
him into the instrument of their strategies. The church, however, has
other role; her duty is recognition of the man and his true values.
Universality of the evangelical principles and turning of the faith
towards human realitis and needs enable church to endeavour that also
in this our time reasserts about true values with which the man improves himself and enables prosperity in the society.
