E-Laboratory expert system's assistance to business systems in construction industry

Sažetak
The assistance provided by the e-Laboratory expert system to business systems for the supervision, design, structural maintenance, research and development is presented. When combined, these systems become veritable examples of practical use of information technology in engineering practice. The supporting action of the e-Laboratory system consists in provision of laboratory testing services, the realization and monitoring of which is organized in an Internet environment, using an appropriate knowledge base about materials and testing procedures.
