The children had more than one event of war experience, theaverage number was more than eight. Due to important therapy implications and guidelines for thework with those children, the strategies of coping were examined, the most frequently used bythe children in the stress situations in this sample. The most part of children in the problematicsituations ask for the support from the adults or friends, and it is more efficient way of selfsupportin the difficult situations. However, the problem is in fact that after the frequency ofuse, it follows the strategy of avoiding and it does not help in the long-term problem solving. As the children are included in the project of psychosocial care, the results of the investigationenable the planning of the games, exercises and techniques of the work in the psychological– teaching (pedagogic) workshops what will develop the skills of more efficient coping. Theresults will facilitate the identification of the children with the emphasized symptomatology, andthe additional individual approach is needed.
