Sažetak

The study was aimed at monitoring, analysing and comparison of microclimate conditions in cattle barns. The values of microclimate parameters were monitored in March and April during a four-year period (2018-2021) in fattening cattle and dairy cow barns. The study results showed a trend of increasing air temperature and correlation among microclimate parameters in both barns, as well as a higher bacterial count in the air of fattening cattle barn as compared to dairy cow barn. The results obtained confirm the importance of analysing microclimate conditions in cattle barns and indicate a possible future need for adaptation in their housing technology.
