Compensation Error of Theodolite Compensator

Sažetak

This paper defines one of the errors in compensator function of the theodolite – compensation error. It also describes the methods for its determination in the laboratory. Along with results of testing, the comparison of methods referring to their accuracy and speed has been made by means of applying mathematical statistics, and some new criteria have also been used. The recommendations are given as well about possibilities of reducing the compensation error influence in measurement.
