Sewerage system for the west portion of the Varazdin county

Sažetak
The solution used for waste water drainage in the west part of the Varazdin county is presented, and principal structures of this system are described. The waste water evacuation from the urban district of Hrascica, as well as from Petrijanec and Sracinec districts, was solved using the combined and partly separate drainage systems. These communities are situated in the wider water protection zone containing well fields for the Varazdin region. The waste water drainage must be improved in this zone in order to adequately protect the underlying ground water and to further improve the quality of such water.
