DEVELOPING A RELATIONSHIP IN SUPERVISION OF PSYCHOSOCIAL WORK

Sažetak
The aim of the research was to verify the correspondence of the theoretical consideration of the factors influencing the establishment, development and maintenance of a supervision relationship with personal experience and experiences of colleagues in supervision of psychosocial work. The overview of theoretical knowledge on the nature of the supervision relationship, its development and maintenance as well as possible problems and obstacles, supported by experience from the supervision practice can be useful material to beginners in supervision of psychosocial work, as well as those who have not yet reached the desired level of self-confidence and trust in own supervision capabilities.
A qualitative approach was applied in the research and the methods of data collection included unobtrusive methods of secondary data analysis, focus group and interview. The sources were partially personal experience presented through analysis of reports of supervision meetings and notes from meta-supervision meetings, and partially experience of a supervisor of the same theoretical background and similar level of development presented through an essay analysis, discussions in focus groups and interviews, all related to social work supervision practice.
