Sažetak

Lynn and Vanhaven (2002, 2006) hypothesized that the wealth of nations is a consequence of differences in the average intelligence of the population. It is generally accepted in psychology that persons of higher intelligence will more likely achieve a higher level of education which, in turn, leads to higher earnings. Is this analogy justified in connecting the average intelligence quotient of a nation with the degree of wealth is the subject of the present meta-analysis.
