Sociological theoretical aspects of children's exposure to domestic violence

Sažetak
The article displays a review of visible sociological theories of exposure of children to domestic violence. The sociological perspective of the problem discussion of exposure of children to domestic violence had later become a medical, psychopathological and criminal one, but has contributed greatly since the first explanations onwards to exposure of this problem as a social not only an individual one. After the analysis of the sociological theoretical aspects of this area, which have been divided to two systems we come to a conclusion that sociology has developed an extensive theoretical basis and grounds for present and future sociological empirical research of exposure of children and adolescents to domestic violence.
