Sažetak

Geostatistical model and interpretation very often are made by using computer programs. Consequently, application and development of geostatistics are closely connected with progress of informatics and computers. In such applications the well-known terminology applied into books and computer application is necessary condition for well-established and right models. Since geostatistics is applied in Croatian hydrocarbon reservoir modelling in the last decade, there was a need for establishing basic set of geostatistical terms necessary for work. Such dictionaries need to be continuously expanded and modified. Presented dictionary encompasses 53 lexicographical hints, which define standard expressions in the field of geostatistics.
