The author analyzes the contemporary situation of social change and questions the signs of crisis and hope: What makes up the excellent educational situation outside and inside the Church? How is the transforming process in Europe reflecting upon the life of young people? What of the religious-pedagogical and pastoral-theological point of view necessary for young people in this situation? What can the family, the Church and schools do for young people – but also what can they learn from young people?
