Sažetak A variant of the leapfrog transformation is discussed. It is pointed out that the presented variant of the leapfrog transformation is a powerful graph-theoretical technique for generating many classes of (chemical) graphs. This technique is applied to polyhexes, square animals and other planar polycyclic graphs with cycles of various sizes.
