Sažetak

As well as the protection of any culture, the protection of vegetables from weed, diseases and pest requires a lot of knowledge and experience. Because of its specifics, such as cultivation from seeds or seedlings in greenhouses or polythene greenhouses, or in the open, and because of the usage of vegetables in fresh condition, the protection is even more demanding and complicated.
This article gives a detailed programme of protection of any of the above mentioned cultures from one-year or several-years lasting narrow or wide leaves weed – before or after the sowing/planting or during vegetation; protection from the most dangerous diseases: powdery mildew, blight potato, grey mildew, white putridity, black leaf spots, rotting of the root etc., protection from the pest: in the ground, glasshouse white fly moth, lice in the leaves and in the roots, mite, thrips, cutworms, moths, leaf miner and others. For every kind of weed, disease of pest we have offered various efficient substances and products which can be found in the programmes of domestic pesticide industries. In addition to this, there is also a carentia stressed out for every product, as well as its producer and distributor. We have also listed products which are used in the world, but are not registered in Croatia for this purpose.
