Results obtained by testing properties of air voids in fresh and hardened concrete are presented and analysed. In fresh concrete, the testing was conducted by compression using porometer and by air void analysis using the air void analyser. The voids in hardened concrete were analyzed through microscopic analysis using the device called the RapidAir 457. The following properties of air voids were measured: total quantity, spacing factor and specific area. The results obtained by two laboratories were then compared.
