Aphids on strawberries

Sažetak
Status of aphids as pests of strawberries changed over time. Their importance in the production of strawberries was in the virus transmission but today they are considered as important direct pests that make damage by sucking plant fluids and honeydew secretion. Several species of aphids were recorded in the production of strawberries: Aphis forbesii, Chaetosiphon fragaefolii, Myzus persicae, Aphis gossypii, Macrosiphum euphorbiae ... Biology of different species, population density of aphids and the presence of natural enemies should be taken into account in an integrated approach in aphids control on strawberries.
