Sažetak
The history of Zagreb, and within it that of architecture and town planning and design, are frequent themes of papers and books,
and for several years now we have seen them turning into an inspiration for various programmes of the Zagreb Tourist Board,
tourist agencies and associations. Organised tours of the city or thematic walks enable tourists as well as residents to get to
know the celebrated features of the city, as well as with its secrets and lesser known parts. Zagreb Tit-Bits, Zagreb in Love,
Sensual Zagreb, Obsessed Zagreb, Upper Town Witches, Secrets of Grič, Tactile Zagreb, Evening Strolls in Zagreb, Strolling with
Zagorka around Zagreb are just parts of the fare provided for tourists and locals to be able to get to know the city, to hear the
uncommon and neglected stories and details or to animate their memories.
In 2013 two professional associations became involved in the presentation of Zagreb, particularly of its architecture and urban
design: the Association of Architects of Zagreb and the Association of Art Historians of Croatia. The programmes of both associations were open to all, and free of charge, and thus not only members of the associations but many members of similar
professions, people employed in culture and tourism as well as the general public took part in them.
