Quality Evaluation of the Croatian Height Transformation Model with the use of Specialised Software HTMV_bbi_v.2

Sažetak
On the territory of the Republic of Croatia the basic official infrastructure for the transformation of height data, between the old (HVRS1875) and the new (HVRS71) height reference coordinate system, is the Croatian height transformation model (HTMV). This paper presents a short overview of both versions of the HTMV that have been realized up to present, the original and official version – HTMV08-v.1 and the new improved and for the time being unofficial version – HTMV14-v.2. The new specialised software HTMV_bbi_v.2, designed for the automatic transformation of the height coordinates of the points with known ellipsoidal position for both versions of the HTMV, has been described in detail. The mentioned software enables empirical realization of the second improved version of the HTMV. An independent analysis of the external and internal quality of the HTMV14-v.2 has been made with the use of HTMV_bbi_v.2 software. The obtained results show that the quality is higher than the expected centimetre.
