Injuries to lower urinary tract (urinary bladder and urethra)

Sažetak

During 18 months of war in the Osijek region there were 22 urinary bladder lesions, wich makes 19.10% of all urogenital injuries (142). Six lesions were extra- and 16 intraperitoneal, all combined with other, mostly abdominal injuries. There were also 4 urethral injuries, 2 of them with pelvic fracture. Bladder injuries require immediate treatment, whereas the treatment of the urthral injuries be postponed.
