Sažetak

This survey gives a review of three books appeared in 1989-1995 period. Terrorism has always been present on world's scene, and it could be said that it is experiencing its escalation in the last 35 years. Terrorists remind us with their actions not to forgot their demands. Here, I start with the problem of definition of terrorism, then I show goals of different species of the terrorism. I also try to make short review about who the terrorists are, about the causes of terrorism and tell something about the efforts put into fighting and restricting terrorism. The books taken into consideration are: B. Leonard Weinberg Political Terrorism, W. Charles Kegly, Jr. International Terrorism; and Richard Clutterbuck Terrorism in an Unstable World.
