Sažetak In this article the author is considering empirical-anthropological thesis about man's insufficiencies, which make him the most problematic creature in the world. Unlike other creatures, man cannot survive by his own biological resourses but has to learn, create his own culture and he has to be «creature of education». Hovvever, man's inabilitv also gives him a ehance to make something out of himself, to gain his true features through education.
