Sažetak This paper deals with the cylindrical scroll boxes found in Istria. Their bronze and iron elements were recorded only in Nesactium. As the male stone statues from Pula that include scroll boxes are very useful for interpreting the appearance of these boxes in their entirety – for only their elements remain – the paper pays particular attention to them. Handles of various lengths, made of various materials and attached to the boxes in various ways can be seen on the statues. At least two scroll boxes with appertaining locks with latches were found in Nesactium. Due to its cylindrical shape and diameter, one bronze foot with figural decorations can be associated with a scroll box.
