Pseudo event or ambiguous truth

Sažetak

Results of monitoring of transformation of Radio television Novi Sad into
public broadcasting service of Vojvodina are indicated in this work. These results show
the presence of an extremely unjustifiable high percentage of pseudo events in
informative broadcasts, in majority and minority languages. It is also visible that there is
no unique programme policy of this media about selection of material for news
broadcasts. At the same time, there is an unjustifiable small percentage of media initiated
events, which indicates a small engagement of journalists in investigating events from
the daily-political practice. This also represents the absence of different genres in
presentation of media contents.
